🌟 Program Overview The After School Adventure Club at the Activity Centre offers children ages 4–12 a safe, fun, and creative space to wind down after school. Children explore themed enrichment, collaborative play, and opportunities for leadership. Families are responsible for drop-off and pick-up — no school transportation is provided. 🌟 Hours of Operation After School Program: 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. 🌟 Daily Adventure Schedule 3:00 – 3:30 p.m. | Arrival, Snack & Free Play A light after-school snack is provided (fruit or yogurt). Children enjoy building, board games, crafts, and reading. 3:30 – 4:15 p.m. | Adventure Theme Activity A structured enrichment activity tied to the weekly theme (STEM, art, drama, etc.). 4:15 – 5:00 p.m. | Adventure Leaders & Challenges Younger children: guided games, challenges, or projects. Older children (10–12 yrs): join the Adventure Leaders Program, where they: ☑️ Help staff set up games or activities ☑️ Mentor younger kids in a buddy system ☑️ Earn Adventure Badges such as: – Super Helper – Creative Builder – Kindness Champion 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. | Chill & Create Choice time: finish projects, quiet play, or group games until pick-up. 🌟 Special Features Adventure Leaders Program – keeps older kids engaged with leadership roles and rewards. Adventure Badges & Certificates – collected in an Adventure Passport; milestone earners receive certificates or small prizes. After School Snack – healthy fruit or yogurt served daily. Staffing – Experienced Program Leaders create a safe, playful, and inclusive space. 🌟 Program Policies Transportation – Families arrange all drop-offs and pick-ups. Food – A light after-school snack is provided (fruit or yogurt). Parents may still pack additional nut-free snacks if desired. Attendance – Pre-registration required; limited drop-ins accepted. Communication – Monthly adventure calendars shared with families. 🌟 Pricing Daily Rate: $30 per child (includes snack) Weekly Rate (5 days): $150 Sibling Discount: 10% off for the second child Adventure Leader Incentive: Older kids who earn a monthly Achievement Certificate receive a $10 program credit
